NORTH PLATTE WOODCARVERS News Letter January 2003

The officers for the North Platte Woodcarvers is as follows:

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays A.M. at:
    Senior Center
    900 East 10th
    North Platte, NE 69101

25 members were present on 2-15-2003.

1. Jack Budler was not present at the February 1, 2003 meeting. No minutes were taken of the meeting.

2. Show at the Mall was set up last Saturday due to the request of Sharon Skinner. If some members want to place items in the display we may be able to get in. Let Jack Budler know.

3. On March 4^th, Roy Pressler and Don Haws will go to KODY radio to tape a show. Additional show times will be set up at that time.

4. On April 4^th,Roy Pressler and Jack Budler will be on the Jackie Harms KNOP-TV midday show. Additional show times will be set up at that time.

5. KNOP-TV will be at our April 19^th Saturday meeting for a film and story on our Carving Club. Bring 4 to 5 items so we can set up a good display.

6. Rick Windham is lining up a date to come to our Carving Club meeting and do a show about our carvings. That date will be announced at a later time.

7. Treasures report: regular account $564.50 show account $610.55

8. The Vickie Branson carving class was very successful. Naturally Jake was the only one to finish his project, but he would not offer his services to the rest of the class.
