Dave Rushlo workshop

The North Platte Woodcarvers hosted a 3 day Dave Rushlo workshop in August of 1999. A 6" Civil War bust was the project.

Dave has a very good step by step teaching style that beginner to advance carvers can follow. He also researches his subject matter to get all the details correct.

The class worked from a cut out and by the end of the third day most everyone had a finished, painted, and mounted carving. This is the second year in a row that Dave has taught in North Platte and his instruction has been a great asset to the club members.
